I own two wheels with QR2s. When I test the QR2s alone (without a wheel), they slide in and out perfectly fine.
Once mounted on my CSL Universal Hub V2, it’s a bit tighter than usual but still okay.
However, with my Formula V2.5, it’s really hard to push all the way in — I have to apply quite a lot of force for it to “click” — and removing it is extremely difficult, I have to pull really hard.
I swapped the two QR2s between my wheels just to be sure, but the issue always stays with the Formula V2.5, so it doesn’t seem to come from the QR2 itself.
Once it’s fully mounted everything works fine, no play or other problem, it’s just the locking and unlocking that are far too stiff compared to my other wheel.
I also made sure to use the screws and spacer provided in the box, so the installation follows the official instructions exactly.
It still remain usable but not optimal at all ...
