The original steering wheel features a combined rocker-style shifter; while it works well, it isn't quite as good as individual magnetic shifters. On the plus side, the price of the original wheel is very reasonable at around €200. This is where the Simube kit comes in: the conversion isn't rocket science, though you do have to completely disassemble the steering wheel (there are YouTube videos available). It took me about 60 minutes to complete the modification. The wheel comes with a QR2 Lite version as standard, which isn't compatible with the Simube kit! To successfully install it on the CSL Steering Wheel GT3, you need a QR2 or QR2 Pro—which is best ordered directly from Simube at the same time. The total cost comes to around €100. It works perfectly, and I would do it again.
Second time using simube and cant say any bad word about them. Padels feel brilliant and from now on will be shopping full time with them for any fanatec product!
