Fanatec Older Wheels Adapter to QR1 / QR2

Have been thinking about upgrading my CSL DD wheel base to QR2 but didn't want to spend over a thousand to upgrade all my wheels. I have the BMW GT2 V1, Formula V1 and the Universal hub V1. All of these are among the first versions of wheels Fanatec came up with when they release the Clubsport V1 wheel base back in 2012. I wasn't sure if the adapter will really work and am more then happy to confirm that they do. Just be patiance and careful when doing the conversion. 5 stars product.

This is a fantastic product, giving the chance to build old V1 Hubs to QR2. It works perfectly, but please guy's, add some manuals, because it is not easy to build!

The adapter works with no issues. The only issue was the short cable with the connection pins on the CSW Universal Hub V1 . I used some plastics bonder on the connector inside the hub to keep it from coming loose. Just follow the QR2 instructions when installing it to the adapter.

Absolutely perfect to use on the older BMW GT2 wheel. Paired with Simube QR2 the wheel got a new lease on life. Just be careful when reinstalling, there are cables to pinch.

Great product but here is a little advice.1) When taking off the main cable for the prongs that go to the base use isopropyl alcohol to remove the compound, dab it on and let it sit of a minute or two and it comes right off. Be patient and the alcohol do its's thing, it will come off fairly easily. 2 ) after in installed my new QR2 the clutch would not work with my Fanatec V3 pedals. Just get a $9 firewire to USB adaptor from Walmart and run the pedals right into the PC and everything will work fine.

The adapter is of high quality and fits perfectly (such as the original). I was able to screw my Universal Hub V1 to a QR2 (also from Simube) and everything works flawlessly with my new wheelbase. The ordering and delivery process was exemplary. I can absolutely recommend Simube.

Works perfectly well. Now I can use my old wheel side to side with newer wheels and with a up to date QR system. Easy to install.

Great addition, made it possible to connect QR2 wheels to my CSW 2.5 and upgrade my BMW M3 GT2 v1 to QR2.

A temporary step before buying a new wheelbase and new wheels with QR2.

This was a perfectly engineered solution that allowed me to convert my older BMW CSL Wheel to accept the Fanatec QR2 quick release adapter.
Saved me from having to buy a brand new rally wheel.

This was perfect and I bought 2 one to convert bmw gt v1 to a qr2 version and my clubsport universal hub to qr2 version.
This saved Me alot of money as I did not have 2 buy 2 new wheels for qr2 system..
You will have to buy simube qr2 adapters seperate from this kit though
The quality is great and install video is straightforward
Hardest part is removing hot glue from fanatec and re hot glueing connections to ensure proper connection when re install adapter
