Fanatec control panel recognizes this as a Podium Hub and it just works.
I didn't know that the extension was a thing and after searching and seeing what others were charging for the extension and the qr2 this was a no brainer I couldn't be more happy with the fit and feel
I currently build a pokornyiengineering wheel for my Fanatec base. After some research I was comming across your solution. The build quality is really, really good I cannot wait to get the wheel ready.
These are super nice and very reasonable price considering they are aluminum and not plastic like most of the other brands. Highly recommend them!

Great paddle shifters
Installation wasn't difficult, but the online instructions are outdated. Current magnetic switches only have one fixed cable, and the installation sequence is now different.
