Magnetic Paddle Module for McLaren GT3 V2

Very good product, excellent quality, fast shipping, I recommend it.

I was prepared to spend upwards of $350 on a new wheel to get rid of the chunky piece of metal Fanatec calls a shifter on the McLaren v2. By the end of long races it would start digging into and hurting my fingertips.

This shifter has transformed my wheel and feels quality. Installation was more involved than I expected but YouTube videos were a big help and the inclusion of all the necessarily tools right in the box was appreciated.

The changes are now made with incredible feeling!! Also, the pudles came closer to my hands, which is great because the originals were very far away! They arrived in Greece on a remote island in two weeks! They are worth their money and more!!

These paddle shifters were originally designed for the McLaren GT3 V2 wheel, but I’ve repurposed them for my DD Pro GT7 wheel base mod project. My previous setup used 3D-printed shifters that felt flimsy and eventually snapped while I was playing GT7. While searching for a more durable solution, I found this metal kit. It was an easy replacement, reasonably priced, and provides a much more solid shifting experience. I'm very happy with the upgrade!

You cannot go wrong with this kit. Installation may seem daunting if you've never taken a Fanatec wheel apart before, but just watch the videos and you'll have the confidence right away. The price point is perfect that you receive literally everything you need to complete the job, and extra. The adapter mount is solid, no unwanted movement anywhere, and looks just like it came factory with the wheel. Honestly the most difficult part of the install is routing the wires behind the mount so everything looks clean, other than that very straightforward. You'll receive extra carbon paddles which I was able to upgrade my other wheels with if you have other styles, basically 3 different sizes in total. The magnetic shifters are just a touch stronger than the Fanatec versions, but shift just as perfectly. The quality of the shifters are also right on par with the original fanatec ClubSport kit. No regrets with this purchase.

This is a perfect upgrade for one of the McLaren GT3 rim shortcomings. The rim is great for the money,but starts to feel cheap. This makes it more high end. Shifters are one thing you use more than you probably notice. The upgrade is not easy,but not super difficult either. YouTube video makes it simple. You won't be disappointed.

Installation wasn't difficult, but the online instructions are outdated. Current magnetic switches only have one fixed cable, and the installation sequence is now different.

Le colis est arrivé très bien emballé. L'installation est simple si vous suivez bien les étapes à savoir que les outils nécessaires sont fournis. Le GT3 v2 prend une autre dimension, l'accessoire idéal pour emmener ce volant dans une expérience plus premium. Je recommande à 200%.

The upgrade was easy after watching a youtube video.The shifters work incredibly well, so much better than the orignal shifter.

Really happy with how it turned out, easy enough to install.

All good but cables are quite long and it's a pain to pack them hidden under the bracket. Also I was wondering why use 5-pin connector for two cables. Installation was quite straight forward although my wheel had slightly different internals. Tools required were in the box.
