Fantastic Upgrade

Well I was using the old Qr1 for years now and I am glad I switched over to the Qr2 and I wouldn't of done it if it wasn't for Simube's prices plus I have noticed that Simube products are made better that fanatec.

No issue with the product works great. Quality is great as well. The shipping process could be a little clearer. Ships straight from China and takes a few weeks. Website stated ships witching 6 business days but it took much longer to even leave the original facility. Tracking was confusing and not useful. It bounces around a few locations in China and then you get a notification when It arrives in California. It will show up at your door eventually.

Major Upgrade

I purchased a Fanatec DD Pro with a standard QR2 system installed. I found it the main weak point of the base and decided to upgrade to the metal QR2 base side. It arrived very well packaged (plus half the price of Fanatec) took 15-20min to remove old and fit. It translates the FFB so much more than the original plastic type. I can actually feel the car rear starting to lose traction and catch it's spin now. Highly recommended.

Very pleased with the look and feel of the parts, but...

Very pleased with the look and feel of the parts I ordered from Simube (two QR2s in gold and a base connector) - all felt reassuringly heavy and well made. At first, the connecting of wheel to base seemed great but, and this is why its a 4 star rating and not a 5, one of my two wheels now needs far too powerful a tug to free it from the base - it makes me have concerns about the base itself to need to pull so hard to free the wheel. The other detaches far more easily and smoothly - I imagine there's some minute difference in the tolerances between the two QR2s but this does make it a frustrating experience. Otherwise, I'd recommend this - the upgrade from an actual Fanatec QR1 to this QR2 is well worth the spend.

awesome product

This is a decent metal set, with very good magnetic shifters. All is very sturdy and not difficult to mount. I used it for the modification of my GT DD wheel, to have decent shifters (the AliExpress ones were plastic, flimsy, too much flex and just overall bad quality). This Simube is however awesome, pretty silent and give good feedback and no mis-shifts.
